We had just separated for a week. I thought that I was okay without him. I resisted thinking of him. I tried not to feel the connection. I forced myself to go about my daily routines like I did not feel the emotional chaos.

Deep down, I missed him so much. I experienced all kinds of emotional chaos. My mind and my heart were conflicted but my Soul was home when we met.
I was driving on the highway when I felt painful emotions flowing towards me that were not mine. It was my first time to experience his pain. It came in form of a ball of pain rolling around my heart area. His pain hurt me more than mine did. I suddenly broke down into tears and wailed in my car as I drove home.

When I got to the house, I did not want to talk to anyone. I closed myself in my bedroom until the next morning.
When I woke up, I felt worse than before. I was lovesick -- I could feel my heart area heating up with warm feelings of love. I was new to feeling the alien emotions that I felt powerless. I went into a mild anxiety attack. I was surprised that I could still feel the connection to him even though I tried my best to avoid him.

The inner resistance that I put up to resisting the connection manifested as physical illness. I struggled to breathe. My body felt weak as I got cold sweats. I was in denial.

When I finally recovered 30 minutes later, I started researching about my experiences. Luckily enough, this is when I learned about the Twin Flame experiences. When I learned about the nature of the process, I realized that perhaps I had met mine.
I continued to study myself and my experiences; I now believe that I truly found the only love of my life.
